1. Introduction

This Software License Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the use of all plugins, extensions, themes, and software products developed, sold, or distributed by DC Apps (“the Licensor”).
By installing, activating, or using any software provided by DC Apps (“the Software”), the end user (“the Licensee”) agrees to comply fully with the terms of this Agreement.

2. Dual Licensing Model

To maintain compatibility with open-source platforms such as WordPress while protecting proprietary code, DC Apps distributes its Software under a dual licensing model:

Integration Components:
Any code that directly interfaces with WordPress core functions (such as basic hooks, filters, and API integration files) is licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2 or later, ensuring compliance with WordPress licensing requirements.
Proprietary Components:
All other components — including but not limited to internal logic, business rules, algorithms, premium modules, data processing systems, and related assets — are licensed under a commercial proprietary license owned by DC Apps.
These parts remain closed-source and are protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

3. Ownership and Intellectual Property

All copyrights, trademarks, design rights, trade secrets, and intellectual property associated with DC Apps’ Software are and shall remain the exclusive property of DC Apps.
The Licensee is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Software in accordance with this Agreement.
The Licensee may not copy, modify, distribute, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on the Software, in whole or in part, without prior written consent from DC Apps.

4. Permitted Use

The Licensee may install and use the Software only on websites or systems owned or directly managed by the Licensee.
The Software may not be used to provide development services to third parties, bundled within other products, or resold, rented, or redistributed in any manner.

5. Updates and Support

Access to software updates, bug fixes, and technical support may be limited to valid license holders with active subscriptions or maintenance agreements.
DC Apps reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or update any of its Software at its sole discretion.

6. Warranty Disclaimer

The Software is provided “as is,” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
DC Apps does not warrant that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted, nor does it guarantee compatibility with any specific third-party product.
The Licensee assumes full responsibility for the use and operation of the Software.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall DC Apps be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Software, even if DC Apps has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Right to Modify the License

DC Apps reserves the unrestricted right to modify, update, or replace this License Agreement at any time, without notice and without any obligation or liability toward the Licensee.
Continued use of the Software after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

9. Termination

DC Apps may terminate this license immediately upon any violation of this Agreement.
Upon termination, the Licensee must delete all copies of the Software and cease all use immediately.

10. Refund Policy

You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if the software has not been activated.
Once a license key has been activated or used, no refunds will be issued.
Refund requests must be submitted via our support system at support.desk@dc-apps.net.
The Company reserves the right to refuse refunds in cases of misuse or violation of this Agreement.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and any disputes arising hereunder shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Egyptian courts.
